Sorry to put a dampner on things but hey lets all live up to the reality of the wonderful game of Rugby.

Its a contact sport and things like this happen, tempers fly and players fight, i am still bemused as to why this topic has been such a big hit on the West message board (obviously the more popular club in the town) but it gives us all something to natter about and pass the time away at work.

Maybe the accused stamper and the accused puncher should have been carded, but they wern't. But you can argue that MAYBE Craig Lee should have been carded for persistent decent towards the Mr Hodgson, it was funny when Mr Hodgson took his whistle from his mouth and offered it to Craig and said "do you want to Ref the game"?

Maybe the ref did cop out as some have said, but lets not try to turn rugby into football whereby players and fans all want to see cards if there is any sort of scuffle on the field!

surely Dave Turner couldn't have been serious with the "should have been west" comment, unless he means it in the sense that they "should have" (wanted to) win every game. West didn't exactly slaughter Horden but the game was definately won by the better side.

He must be turning into R&O who, as time passes, belives that every game west have ever won against rovers was due to all wests points being scored 15mins into injury time after being awarded 32 penalties in a row...

I remember giving Davy a copy of the video of that game ...... so he can't have watched it!

Stan I hope you dont agree that Horden go down as Robok wants. Mr Gateman have a word with him your Soup may depend on it.

If someone is lying over the ball trying to kill it or slow it down, surely the opposition are allowed to 'encourage' him to move away?

We all know that if you are on the wrong side and not making ant attempt to move away from the ball, then you expect a few. Lets not turn rugby into a game for the week.
