THE PRECIDING WEEK RULE IS NOT THE SOLUTION IN MY OPINION, WHAT ABOUT MASH AND DOC WHO HAVE NOT PLAYED REGULAR FIRST TEAM RUGBY BUT UNDER THAT CRITERIA WOULD BE UNABLE TO PLAY.

THIS MAY NOT BE THE SOLUTION AND I UNDERSTAND THAT PEOPLE WILL DISAGREE BUT I PERSONALLY THINK IF A PLAYER HAS MADE SEVERAL 2ND TEAM APPEARENCES, NOT JST THE ODD APPEARENCE THEN THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO PLAY.

AT THE END OF THE DAY SOME PLAYERS WILL LOSE OUT IF ANY CRITERIA IS APPLIED TO DECIDE WHO SHOULD PLAY.

I think this competition is too important to leave it to the clubs.

There must be a definative rule for all.

Yes some players will miss out. Given my favoured system, I will probably miss out on a bench place myself.

Rovers, West & Horden should use the same criteria, otherwise the system is always open to abuse. Panda, your idea of several games is not bad but we should set a figure. i.e 5 1st XV starts would make you ineligble.

I would suggest that you are elligible if that day you wouldn't be in the first team should they have a league game.
