Predictions (not scores)

Winners of each tie

A) Rovers
B) BBOB
C)West just
D)Ath

With Rovers & West meeting in the semi and the winner of that tie, the eventual winner. (Too close to call on recent performance)

realistically if the Stags play to their full potential they will win it

Equally if the Heughers play anywhere near their full potential they can win it.

Its a tough call between Heughers and the Stags if both teams play to their full potential.

Not to put any other team down as they will all be hard to beat.

The last game between the two, althought West came out winners, was very tight and very entertaining and in all fairness could have gone either way.

I know this is opening a can of worms again but I do think there should be a concensus on eligibility of players, to put a stop once and for all on the "Ringer" shout.

My favourite for eligibilty would be "player who had not started for the First XV in game immediatley before the Pyman Cup tie"

the last game Stags/ Heughers was a lot closer than the first one. The Heughers did themselves justice in this game and as Tragic said it was quite close till the end

I wouldn't write Horden off.

As far as I know.. As Old Boys 2nds are getting 25+ players everyweek, it would be unfair to play regular first teams in a predominantley 2nd team competition over the commited 2nd team. So Old Boys firsts are not entering.. it shall be the 2nds..

Because of HOBs league status isn,t it the 1st team that should play ?

They could do.. But isn't that a tad unfair? the Pyman cup is considered a 2nd team cup, and despite Hartlepool being were they currently have a very strong setup with regard to the 2XV. Why not let them have a good go, and I think alot of people will be suprised..

reagardless of what criteria are used, expect the horden fans to label everyone in the opposing team a ringer just as they did last year

Half of the Stags have played for the first team this season. Rhino, Garside, Hendo, Tinker, Ches, Mash, then there are players like Henry, Brett, Carl Miller who have played more first team games but also quite a few second team.

How do you sort that then
