game was off wasn't it....i assume this is a mischief making post....

Leds stripped ready to play, pies in oven ready to eat, extra bar staff to serve all you poolies, but a no show from WEST STAGS,:-! a phone call would have been appreciated, very unprofessional :(:-!:-!:-!

Yes El Pedro. Game was called off at about 2 o clock :-| Very poor that we never got a phone call.

I was told that the game was cried-off on Friday night.
Was this not the case?

Rubbish! ... Our fixture secretary was stripped and ready for the game ....

I hope this has been a one off as our second team lads are really looking forward to testing themselves against the Stags in the 2nd team cup next month. I am sure it must be, looking forward to the game.

This game being off came as a complete surprise to those supposedly in the know. In fact, they only found out when they realised how many Stags were at Middlesbrough.
Quite why the game was called off, or under what circumstances, I don't know and our Chairman of Rugby didn't know either last time I spoke to him.
No doubt, the answer will be found at training tonight and I am sure Horden will be contacted directly with an explanation and possibly a fulsome apology.
