N2 East V N2West

Is it now time for teams in our league to now dispose of the notion that this league is superior to N2 West given recent results?

Who said there was?

What notion?
If LSH represent the best of N2W, looks like the 2 leagues are of similar standard.

My point exactly but how many of us would have said that a month or two ago. I have never until recently been party to a conversation where the conclusion was drawn that the leagues were of a similar standard.

The feeling has always been that the better rugby was played in our league surely we need to rethink.

not sure about that. we were told on saturday that the game was the most physical test LSH had had all season. it was probably the least physical game i have seen. certainly nothing like horden v rovers for instance....

We played Lymm and lost; but having said that we did put out a weakened side and I'm confident that we'd have won comfortably with a full team out. They are near the top of N2W.

LSH played in my opinion really badly only showing small glimpses of the way they can and have been playing. it is a long way to travel by coach and with a few new players in the squad it was a hard match. However if there was a rematch at Moss lane I am confident LSh would win by a healthy margin! :P

Blah blah blah. Why can't you give West credit for spoiling their game N2 west?

Why can't someone organise a cross league challenge? Pick 20 representatives from each league and get a match organised.

It would take a bit of organising but I am sure it could be a good money spinner and would surely attract a big crowd.

Just so long as West don't organize it, they'll have all twenty players nominated.......after all they are the best team in the whole wide world and are playing way below themselves in N2E.........(not):oD:oD:oD

If we had had a full strength team at Aspatria our game would have been much closer.

Mr Bored Stiff

Chill out, a bit of harmless banter.........except it would be a true happening if some of your blinkered Westies are to be believed......let's see how you react to a 'mauling' by the Tigers this Saturday:oD:oD:oD
