thats got to make bucks the league champions surely?

The way it reads to me is we won yesterday which gives us (bucks) a total of 44 points with 1 game remaining and the minimum we can get from that game is 1 point. Richmondshire have 36 or 39 if they were playing and won yesterday but have no games left to play (according to fixture list).So as far as I can see, the bucks are league champions! Well done lads! Need to be aware that some teams will try to get additional games in to bump the points up. This can only happen i think if they have not already played eachother twice though

Wasnt there a case of this (what Quinny suggested) a year or 2 back? A team playing extra games through midweek so they could win the league? Cannot which team it was but sure I read/heard about it somewhere.

As things stand if richmond manage to rearrange the games that were cancelled due to the bad weather they would be able to get another 10pts.
if acklam manage to rearrange all of their games they would be able to get 12 more pts
We have guisbro and northallerton to play at home and a posible rearranged fixtue with acklam also at home which would mean we have a possible 8pts available.
So not there just yet.

Just noticed that richmond had a walkover result last week so only have a possible 8pts to get.
With our pts diff that means we should only need one more point from the 3 games.

Unless I am missing something Acklam have no more games left (played 18 games - 10 teams in league).

games that were cancelled due to bad weather both teams were given 1pt. if these games get rearranged the extra 2pts go to the winners.
so acklam can get 6pts which would mean they would have to beat the bucks at Brinkburn in the process.
Richmond can also get a further 8pts due to the same thing
both teams can get 44pts

From the rules page -

"9. Teams involved in games that are abandoned because of bad weather or called off on the day because of bad weather or unplayable pitches will be awarded one point. However they will have the option to play the match at a later date with the normal points rules applied in addition to the point previously awarded."

I think this means that if they play a rearranged fixture and win, they get the 3 points on top of the 1 for the abandoned fixture?

This calculation assumes the existing one point for a cancelled game will be honoured and 3 points for a win of rescheduled game

West have played 14 therefore points available are 12 (4 remaining games X 3 points). Max points that can be accrued = 43 (current) + 12 (potential) = 55

Richmondshire have played 13 therefore points available are 15 (5 remaining games X 3 points). Max points = 36 (current) + 15 (potential) = 51.

Acklam have played 15 therefore points available are 9 (3 remaining games X 3 points). Max points = 38 (current) + 9 (potential) = 47.

The league ends on 30th April (four saturdays away), so without arranging midweek fixtures, Richmondshire won't be able to fulfil all of their fixtures?

Bucks also have the county cup final which takes up one of the weeks I believe?

Has the venue for the third team final been confirmed yet??
