Love Spunk you are a compleat hypocrite not to long ago i put a post asking if the ams should be really considered a club in its own right now you get on your high horse because people would rather player for west bucks or higher and not the ams. You really should get a grip and make you mind up what you are.
Just bite the bullet say you are west 4ths and then the lads will play as part of there natural progression

About time !!!
Why not join back into D&N3 and give some of the younger lads a real stepping stone into competitive rugby instead of running about with a load of old neverbeens such as yourself.

At least you would have a point then

Shocking, you really have just showed yourself to be a right tit! A load of decent players have played for the Ams since they started but obviously you know nothing do you.
We dropped out of D&N3 so there were no registration issues between the 2 clubs, again but you know nothing do you!!

As far as i am concerned this thread has ended due to your stupid rants, hiding behind a name and just trying to pathetically have a go

I think this thread started and finished with your stupid rants Love Spunk.
So again stop claiming to be 2 clubs play as west 4th team and lose your international ticket allocation.

The town knows that this is the only reason for " the ams "

My work is done for tonight big day at school tomorrow maths test.

The attitude coming across seems to be that if you haven’t been picked for either the 1sts, Stags or the Bucks - players would rather not play at all, than play for the Ams?? If that’s the case, it is a sad day all round for rugby.

Also, when the bottle of Port / Sherry comes round, just say 'No thanks' seems simple enough.

Andy Q and Peter W, along with a few others, have helped establish a structure, which retains it's own identity but also enables the best of most situations. A set up were anyone, regardless of which team or club they play for, can get a game of competitive rugby on a Saturday afternoon.

No doubt there are occasions when things don't always go to plan but that’s to be expected due to the circumstances the team finds itself in, come KO time.

Nevertheless, the management and a core of key players continue to provide not only a competitive game of rugby but also an enjoyable social event, which is very much appreciated by many. Keep up the good work.

Unfortunately, you will always get the odd shocker / outsider trying to stir things up.

Nah Wilkie, your far too good (still) to be in the Bucks squad. Your at least Stags standard.

If your not in the Stags squad I'd have a free Saturday if I were you.

Intended as a joke, before I get called all the names under the sun, but you will get the usual rabble having a go still.

I will also be available if needed.

You can help me with the car wash if you like. Bring Karlos along also and he can help and may even get wet enough to have it considered a wash!! Haha ;)

no serious injurys for the ams...hows the shoulder quinny? sorry cheap shot , joking a side i hope it is getting better mate.

am all for the ams me! i like the way the keep the old amatuer flag flying like the port at half time and that they will give anyone a run out no matter which club they are from.

but if use are all one club would any of the staunch ams lads play for the bucks if selected, if the ams had a crucile derby game at home ??and as for the younguns not wanting to play, they should be wanting to play every week rather then watching a game as as you dont know when your rugby career will be cut short! as you will soon get sick of watching when that happens, as i should know as am in that boat!

Between all the back biting sniping there a certain amount of sense trickling through.

You should perhaps give serious thought to being re-patriated into West and ceasing to exist as a seperate Ams club.

I am certain that those in the know are deeply grateful for the effort you and many others have put into the Ams over the years but perhaps its time to move on and put and end to the schism that exists.

I think the whole of West would benefit from a "proper" 4th team and it would also tick a lot of funding boxes for the RFU.

It need not affect your ability to play in the friendly leagues and I am sure that players from other clubs would still turn out if they had no game themselves.

Give it some serious thought Quinny

For the the life of me I cannot understand why people from other clubs take such an interest in the affairs of West Hartlepool Amateurs. It is purely up to the members of that club what they do.
I would have thought everyone at Rovers would have more to think about at the moment than the Ams.
