i am long in the tooth,both as a person and as a member of West. i have followed the "message board" for a number of years, but now think it is time i said something. for nearly 130 years our club has enhanced its reputation both on and off the field but it seems to me that reputation is being diminished. the words and phrases being used currently on this thread is nothg less than disgraceful. i think SCH is hilarious. why we should get wound up about him i do not know. if as one correspondent says he was fishing off the Heugh and had as many "bites" as he gets from us he would be charged with overfishing the North Sea i agree he is outrageous at times and needs a rebuke but there are ways and there are ways. don't forget guys, what you write on here is read by people all over the world.
finally i wonder if SCh noticed in the news over Xmas that Prince William while on duty with the RAF had his Xmas dinner in the camp PORTAKABIN. if it's good enough for the future King ..................
