Brilliant display of pressure rugby. Everyone played well and the backrow were outstanding.

Outstanding performance by everyone - discipline was superb again.

Tim was in good spirits last night - he's off to hospital today so hopefully we'll know more in the next couple of days.

The Ref was very strict on not releasing. I dont tyhink I have ever seen an official who gave such little time for the tackled player to get himself sorted. He had called davy over a couple of times to warn him and the when dan was tackled and held up just on the line he pinged him for not releasing and yellow carded him.
The point I was making is you wont see many attacking players yellow carded for not releasing on the try line!

Tim was in the club at dinner time - he's been back to the hospital and everythings still where it should be - he can't weight bear yet cos it'll dislocate straight away.%-)%-)

He's in a cast with metal rods in from his thigh to his ankle but is in good spirits.

terrific result!! well done lads
Finally proves we can play away from home and gives us confidence going into some tough games ahead. maybe rovers could do us a favour and turn boro over on sat!! :-)
Tim was having a great season which makes it even more unlucky for him to pick up a serious injury. Hopefully the recovery period won't be too long. glad to hear he's in good spirits.

As for Rovers v Horden...thought Rovers dominated the second half but were ultimately undone by being asleep for the first 15 minutes. the forwards did enough but the backs were woeful. it only really improved when the kiwi moved to 10.
the samoan had a real baptism of fire!! surprised R&O isn't elaborating on the "incident" which led to his head injury....and robok had some colourful comments to make too....why the silence boys??

Suggest we West supporters keep our noses out of the Horden v Rovers game. None of our business apart from saying that we had better be prepared for their pack this week.

I would just like to pass on my best wishes and a speedy recovery to your hooker.

I was the ref on Sat and I have to say it's the worst injury I have ever seen on a rugby pitch. Hope he's back playing soon.

Give your tail a shake! I did not criticise Mr Fry. I said he was very sharp on penalising not releasing which is up to him - he was very consistent for both sides and gave Davy Tighe several warnings about it before he sin-binnd Dan. The point I was making is how many times have you see a player sin-binned for not releasing on the opposition's try line? Think about it.
