I agree, West have made a great start, and hopefully they can keep it going. It is a long season but i am sure there are plenty of Stags who are more than capable of stepping up and doing a great job

ROBOK just ask for Big Bill and your pint will be there. Unless your Biltong tastes like Verills fish and chips then dont bother offering me any. See you saturday.

How come a debate on the league ends up discussing some revolting South African snack?

With regards to the comments regarding the travelling distances in North 1. Look at the Westoe fixtures. There is not 1 game in the league that is anywhere remotely close to them, the closest away fixture must be Penrith and even then thats a few hours on a coach!

Would be a similar situation in our league if you took Rovers, West, Horden, City and Boro out of the league :oD

It's weird really - we're either so close to home we go in cars or we're 2 1/2 - 3 hours on a coach - I mean Rochdale I don't think I can drink that far %-):oP:oD

and looking at North 1 we've already been to every one of those clubs on the way down so we know the way - come to think of it I think we've visited nearly every club in England!

but that's history whereas we're talking about the past 10 years or so - and this isn't a bite either.

Since 1998 we have visited more clubs than any other club in the country (and some in Ireland, Italy & Barcelona!)

At one point DP was going to contact the Guinness Book of Records for the amount of miles travelled (and the speed some of us got back to the White House%-)%-))

Only 9 years ago we were playing the like of Quins, Wasps (we beat them! :oD:oD:oD) etc - who were Rovers playing 9 years ago.

So what we were beaten by most of the sides we had fun whilst we were there (esp in Bath & Oxford - I think ;-);-))

Come on West Girl................you can't stop it there........just who were you having fun in the bath with?

Could it be Monkey Boy and El Pedalo and their yellow plastic ducks or Messrs Wallis & WPA with their bath lifts??
