I played for westoe in the game vs horden @ westoe when we pt 60+ points on Horden! One of the reasons we won was because we got our back row to pile pressure on Turner.

As soon as he was hit hard and maybe a little late he didn't know what to do. He kept kicking the ball away (usually poorly) and passing back in side hoping for someone to take the ball up for him, his outside backs didn't see the ball until Turner went off injured and the replacement sat deeper in the pocket and put the ball out.

Overall, i think turner may be a v.good player in lower leagues (D&N1) but N2E and higher is a totally different kettle of fish!

Just clearing up the "south sheilds falcon" remark!

Only Richard Arnold and Jamie Rennie have played for falcons before coming to Westoe, and between them they have only played a handful of games this season, 2 others Gareth Nesbitt and James Fitzpatrick have been selected in the academy team but only on a couple of occasions this season!

All that has changed at Westoe is the way we play and coaching techniques! The core of the team is still the same!

Not really! The types of training we do, how we do it and training specific to the game we want to play!

We have had falcons players come to training sessions to help, but thats about it!

Why did Turner leave Darlington? Does Turner only play well when Horden do well? I think a lot of what is said above backs up MB - he is a good goal kicker and nothing else!!

And a winger scored. Which proves the ball DID get further than the half backs. Which further proves people on this board wrong! ;-)
