Well done Chris Wray for coming on to explain.
As said earlier, I did not see the game but congratulations to both teams and the referee for enhancing second team rugby and the Pyman Cup competition
A shame it was not a replay after the 2004 final went to an extra week

Aye, it's good to get some feedback from the Ref.
And I have to agree that we did struggle in the lineouts, so the decision to take Blackie off was a bit of a strange one to say the least.

I totally agree about the scenes at the end which were out of order. Fortunately at the cup presentation and the attitude of both sides was first class.
We could have done without some of the shouted comments from female members of the Horden crowd which were directed at the officials.

the scenes were bad like but yet again it was the minority giving the whole west crowd a bad name.
as they did last year in the semi finals of the pyman cup against pool 2nds buy chanting "easy easy easy" when they ran the 3rd try in.:-!:-!:-!

what a load of bollocks about our reaction! emotions were high, people are suggesting it was something you woul only see in football........nonsense, i've seen it happen in just about every sport, including golf (USA Ryder cup team). Another thing i would like to bring up is this suggestion of 'hangers on'! not sure what that is all about. Nearly everyone that ran on the pitch was a West player!

At least West came and stopped in our club and spent some money. From a neutral Id say the team that tried to play rugby won and that is right.

yes it did happen at the ryder cup but no one thought it was ok to do it especially with all the players wifes also running across the green when we we still had a chance to draw it.
the scenes were over the top last night even if emotions were running high but that doesnt take away the fact that west deserved to win
