Why not just amend the rules so that the likes of Seaton and Old Boys can enter their first teams?

How do we know who we are playing? Have Heughers played the Ath yet? Would have thought Ath 1sts would win that one.

CB, just interested why you would reckon the ath would beat the Heughers, turned out to be a close game in the end and credit to the athe but Rovers ran out comprehensive winners in the previous two games.

Old Boys will be able to enter their first team next season due to the league they occupy.

Seaton used to enter their 1st XV but they got promoted a couple of seasons back so the now enter theirs 2nds.

I am with HBL - an April Cup for all players is ideal for the end of season and generates a lot of interest. When I played in Gloucester there is a regular end of season Cup - 1sts on Monday, 2nds Tuesday, 3rds Wednesday and it is quite a money spinner. Admittedly there are 18 junior clubs in Glos. but it brings out a lot of players and attracts decent crowds. I got to play in the Third Teams Cup Final - admittedly not very prestigious but at the same time it keeps training lively and it is always good to play in Cup game whatever your standard of play. With a bit of thought this could be a real shot in the arm and we could play the finals on Sunday and keep Roy happy.

i agree with this topic there should be thirds teams allowed in the compition as on their days would give alot of the districts 2nd team a run for their money. but on the same note the second teams that are in now at the minute should be allowed to play on.
such as hordens thirds would give their seconds a great game. why not let the likes of these clubs enter two teams as west do

we don't enter 2 sides - the ams are a seperate club we just share a home!

the next games are this Wednesday and the final venue will depend on who is in the final. :-)
