Ponteland arrive in fourth place having won five of their last six league games. They will be looking to keep that run going and become the first side to beat West this season.
The game at the Ponteland Leisure Centre back in October saw the sides share six tries. West don't often go for the penalty kick option, however on this occasion Sam Heron kicked four to give his side a deserved 33-23 win - concerted West pressure leading to a series of penalties at the breakdown. Jake Linighan and Jay Corbett were missing from the pack back in that first game but will start this week. Alex Barker also starts the game after his recovery from injury and Lewis Scott is back on the wing as Will Hilditch moves inside to cover for the injured Davy Heckles.
