County Cup Draw
We have been drawn against a resurgent Durham City in the Durham Senior Cup with the game to be played at Brinkburn on Saturday August 27th ..

It promises to be a perfect opener to the season with City newly promoted after storming through Durham and Northumberland One.

Of course, the sides will also meet in the league with City visiting on Bonfire Night followed by our visit to Hollow Drift on March 4th.

The winner of the tie will take on either Blaydon or Horden with Westoe v Billingham and Mowden Park v Consett in the other half of the draw.

I think our game will be tight, but I can see some cry offs or cricket scores in the other games

We will have a competitive pre-season by the looks of it and lets hope we avoid injuries and are able to start the league season with some momentum behind us.
It's been said before, we have a lot of young players who have some decent experience behind them now, so I'm very hopeful that we can build on last season and go for a top two finish.

That really should be the target for the season. It looks a more balanced league this year without any big spenders so looking forward to it
