BeerFest 2015

More than 1,000 people attended over the two days as the sun once again shone on the West BeerFest. Dozens of club members joined the tireless regular staff in ensuring that this was our most successful event yet and many many thanks to you all. Put the next one in your diaries for July 1 and 2 2016. Here's some pix ......

Beer draw winners were Mark Atkinson on Friday and Ian Southern on Saturday. Thanks to the Colts for selling the tickets ..

Was another great year now, been to the past 3 working on the BBQ, Elmo I think next year out shirts should have BBQ kings on it, great work all year round another fun day even Neil said he will put his name down on helping out as for The 2-3 hours he was there getting more stock he seen y I do it ( total fun ) and wants to become a BBQ member, thanks to save and crew for doing it again this year

STC u and I are not precious about the tshirt and they were peach, a pastel colour type at that. Peach tshirts were afflicted with an inability to drink alcohol effectively. Evidence: Mouldy (was well mulled) and Gez (morris dancing)! Next year there are going to be changes as to who is allowed near the public.

Just took a look at the pictures of the BeerFest, looks fabulous! I wish I could have been there as well, maybe sponsor some German beer as well;). Miss being at West and playing rugby a lot, back home you don't see rugby pitches at all and finding a proper rugby club isn't that easy.

Nice to hear from you Mika, hope you're keeping well. We're working tirelessly to replace the 'Berlin Wall' for the upcoming season but it's proving difficult. Hope you find a new club soon if not you might have to start your own or return to Hartlepool!! Take care Carlo
