Stan The Camel
It's a special day today for one of our loyal band of dog waste operatives. Andrew Hainsworth is 50  today and to mark the occasion his lovely wife Jane has purchased a Foundation Stone in his name to ensure Andrew's connection with the club will be forever remembered ....

 

Andrew (aka Stan The Camel, the Cairo Kid and the Portugese Professor) is currently teaching the Classics in Egypt but is expected back soon to ensure the main pitch is in pristine condition for the forthcoming home games.

We wish him a very happy birthday and look forward to enjoying a pint with him over the holiday.

Well done Andrew. It just shows what a great club we have. You can start off picking up dog s***e and end up with your name on a brass plate. I bet you cam' do that at Harlequins or Leicester. Or Rovers.

So to summarise:

My wife lobs in £200 quid for my 50th birthday and all I get is abuse and ONE PINT (cheers, Quinny)

Still, I have to say that having a whole article on the front page was a pretty impressive 50th gift and well worth the money!

Stan will be back on Monday December 22nd and will be receiving promised pint(s?) on Boxing Day.

How gratifying to see that Messrs. Cole, Smith, McMurdo and Pickering have worn their fingers to the bone with glowing tributes to my first rate skills.
