Message From The Turners
On behalf of mum, Joyce, who most of you know is currently in hospital recovering from a stroke, Sue and I would like to express our heartfelt and deepest gratitude for all the wonderful tributes and messages about dad on the West website.

It's a great comfort to the whole family to see in how high esteem he is regarded and all the little anecdotes from many of his old team members has put many a smile on our faces.
We know how proud dad would have been with the team for winning such a hard game against Chester last Saturday. Sue and I will be showing our support for the team on behalf of dad and mum this coming Saturday let's hope we see a repeat performance.
Dad loved West dearly and it was a comfort to us that the he passed away after he had seen his team win and among lots of his friends.
We would also like to take this opportunity to offer our heartfelt thanks to the Chester team members especially Tim Doig, Nathan Sandland-Jones and Tom Blackwell our own Tim Sawyer, Jon Cole and Helen Laycock as well as the paramedics at the scene for all their valiant work in trying to resuscitate dad.

We look forward to seeing you all at dad's funeral at St Luke's church on Friday 9th March and later at the club to celebrate his life.

Stephen and Susan
