Hard luck Stags on an otherwise great day for the club.
And to put the icing on the cake, Italy beat France.

Great win yesterday - nice to see us play some "proper" rugby for a change!

Think that's a bit of a harsh comment. The state of the pitches has been appalling in recent weeks and yet we've still tried to run the ball.
The difference yesterday was that the pitch was in much better condition and there were two teams who wanted to play expansive rugby at every opportunity.
Some good sklills on show from both sides although we obviously had the strength and experience. If we keep the workrate and the support play going we will continue to have success.

I meant that both sides were allowed to play rugby without any diversions- no niggles - no yellow cards - a pleasant afternoon of rugby!

Well done West, sounds as if it was a godd day of rugby!! Almost the right result for us by Cleckheaton ( pity about the 2 points_ could proove vital at the end!!!) But not if we keep going positively.
Hard luck for the Stags as it is always a hard game against Durham University especiallt as you never know what team they turn out in the cup games!!!
Well done Bucks !!! Let us see if you can avenge the Stags later.

West came out all guns blazing in this one. some great rugby on show. Jonny Boatman was superb, breaking tackles all over the place. We need to come out with exactly the same attitude against City next week

Video now included in the match report. I am afraid the lads still insist on scoring tries when they are hidden by the stanchion even though I keep telling them not to.

Can we use some of the West Wing appeal to build one of those scaffolding towers for you?

Only if it's fully enclosed, soundproof, got heating and air con and a waitress service bar.

We can do everything except heating AND air con. Will a wood-burning stove do?
