Morpeth are hoperful that at least the First team game can go ahead as the hosts will, no doubt, be keen to expunge the memory of their last league game when they went down 75-5 at Consett.
Apart from that game both West and Morpeth share similar records, with West in fourth place on 48 points and Morpeth two places below on 44 points. However, in the game at Brinkburn they went home with all the points after a disastrous last seven mintes for the home side. The visitors going into the lead for the first time courtesy of a penalty try and then running in two more in quick succession.
Peter Youll returns to the centre this week after missing the Keswick victory due to work commitments. He will partner Kieran Scollay who returned to bag two tries in the Keswick game and voted Man of the Match by the opposition
Up front Aaron Muir is rewarded for some hard-working displays with the Stags to start in the second row.
Ben Reed is fit again to return to action with the Stags and he will be joined at half-back by the versatile Max Tobin. Nick Bennions is also clear after his head injury for the Firsts at Aspatria and he will be partnered in the second row by Jack Mulcahy.
