Well done to the Both sets of lads. I’ve been able to enjoy watching both of these teams over the past few weeks and I am massively impressed with both squads. Some stand out individuals but both teams are well organised and structured.

Had the pleasure of watching the u16s against Stockton. Both sets of lads gave a very physical encounter but it was a hugely disciplined and mature performance from West. Defensively outstanding.

Well done to all the coaches. It’s nice to see things coming together and with these teams progressing to academy level it will be phenomenal when they eventually come together. It will see improvement at all levels, including the senior squad. Definitely future first team stars in there. A credit to the club.

Nice to see so many out watching too and supporting the youngsters. Good crowd in awful weather.

The futures bright. It’s red, green and white
