"Get Picken" is a gangland drama set in the NE against a gritty backdrop of run down, post industrial decline. Filmed exclusively throughout the East Durham this classic is a non stop journey through the seedy world of extortion, crime and vice.

The film carries a warning as the final scene, filmed at Blackhall Rocks, contains material which some viewers may find upsetting.

If only I'd known I'd have driven across, Les. At least there will be 3 of us tuning in - now the Club's Official No. 1 Veteran has turned his back on foreign trips.

This month is quite a struggle. We have run out of Yorkshire tea bags and I'm not home until March 1st - life can be a struggle at times.
