It says £115 as a package but they only add up to £103??

Also what's wrong with the kit from last season? Not the playing shirts but all the stuff they all spent a bloody fortune on last season! A lot of these lads will feel pressure to get the kit but is there any need for it? surely the kit can't have worn out in a season? to be honest half a bloody season after it actually turned up

Dont delete my post either please. This is a valid honest and frank rant
Thank you

Quinny, Quinny, Quinny.... I despair!!!

Firstly I have just noticed the order form I sent to Dave is an old draft and the updated cost of the package is correct, I will rectify the individual costs on the right, which are incorrect.

Secondly, the players have been consulted over this and a meeting was held to ask them what they wanted. The kit last year came in drips and drabs because they were bespoke items and had to be ordered and made abroad. The new kit is stock items and will be off the shelf, so should come to us within 4 weeks of ordering.

The kit from last year, when washed weekly, soon looks shabby, most have had hoodies etc for two seasons. Again the players choice to change.

I could give you the full breakdown of what has happened with kit but it wouldnt all fit on here.

Quinny, i know you always try and do your bit for the club as we all do, but think or better still ask about things you know nothing about before you open your bloody, bloody mouth.

Please dont delete this post. After all the work put into this so far this year, by myself, Gez and others this is a honest and p$^^%d off rant.

Olly, i am not bothered to be honest as i aint buying it. I honestly feel that some of the players, not all will feel obliged to buy this stuff when i don't reckon it's needed. That's all.

i know it must be a thankless task and a very difficult one trying to get it all sorted, i am not going on about that.

No one is saying you or the other lads don't put tons of work into this and other stuff, but this is how i feel about it all and after all we do live in a free world and all entitled to our opinion. This is mine :)

I know you are not going on about the organisation of this.

You are missing the point, that the players have been involved in asking for/choosing the kit, it is not a club decision.

Those who want to buy the kit will, those who dont, dont have to! Thats why we are taking orders not insisting that every player has every bit of kit.

We are also asking the players to get their own sponsors as usual so it may not cost them a penny and we are actively trying to get sponsors for players who may not be able to get their own.

Now get your hand in your pocket and get your lad sponsored!!

Well done Quinney yet again you make bold statements without facts and make everyone feel that they are wasting there time and look like idiots i thank you its a gift that you really should spend time on developing further .

But just to clarify the majority of the stash was recieved for sept , 22 items were delayed of which I recieved 17 in dec and handed out the rest has been sorted by the end of the season but considering we ordered 712 items I think it unfair to imply that people were waiting for kit for half a season .

To stress this has happened at the request of the lads who we have contact with 3 times a week (at least) and held meetings with .despite what your opinion may be the fact that several are actively helping me and olly sort this out must indicate that just maybe you don't have your ear to the ground and now what the lads want .

For someone who claims to appreciate how much of a thankless task this sort of s##t is you always seem to be the first to make comment . Feel free to reply or better still do something unusual and speak to me and olly on sat face to face. You don't mind if I make unsupported comments about your dinner on sat that might invoke an element of frustration and anger because I don't have any facts to base them on about its organisatio and make you feel as though you have wasted hours that could have been spent with your family

Can remember the time Jim Brownlee proposed we change to all green shirts from the white red and green hoops and that was at a called meeting. I quite like the look of the new kit and if the players have agreed (the majority of course) then this is the most important thing!!
I am sure that similar effort put into pre season training pre season matches to kick off the season with all players available each and every week will ensure a successful season and as one far away am looking forward to following it.

Denny you are bang on. The lads (well the younger ones ) are training before pre season on a Tuesday night under the excellent driving force of Gez and playing touch rugby on a Saturday afternoon.

Gez, your totally missing what i am saying here. Firstly i thought December was halfway through a season? I will get my calander out and count the days!
The point is a lot of the youngsters who are ordering this stuff, probably cant afford it due to being at College or Uni or out of work or being on a low paid income BUT will go along with it so they don't feel left out. THAT'S my point! Do you get it now? I don't have an issue speaking to anyone face to face about it but i was away with work so couldn't.
Maybe i am the first to make a comment about things due to i don't mind saying what i think?
Any comments on the dinner are welcome, fire away

No you are missing the point 22 items out of over 700 is not a huge amount and the driving force for the new kit was and is the LADS. the only person who has ever made an issue of this has been you who to my knowledge has never ordered anything in the past 2 years

It shouldn't be forgotten that the lads go out and get sponsorship for their kit. Peter Robinson has already got a few new sponsors involved.
