Poor Gilly's had an operation today to have a plate and a hook put in his shoulder. Rotten luck for him, especially given the time of year but also given he's had a good run in the side lately after a few other niggling injuries at the start of the season.
Obviously the best wishes of all at the club are with him.

Hope Gilly is back playing soon - that is bad luck.
An excellent report from El Pedro and he hits the nail on the head - we just looked fitter and stronger and it was only a matter of time before Rovers collapsed.
Poor overall from the boys though - 48-0 would have been the perfect scoreline.
I could be mistaken but I do believe that my more than generous donation secured me an invite to Mally's picnic.

Good to see so many of the Stags team getting a game and getting on the scoresheet. Not a great game by any stretch of the imagination. Rovers think they did well but they won't get anywhere until their players lose a bit of weight and get some training under their belts. Not being bithcy just tryig to do some missionary work.
Happy New Year.

I agree WPA - Rovers won't make any significant progress unless they improve their fitness. We have been under the cosh many times but always come back into the game - contrast that with say Burnage who started well but then were virtually penned into their own half after the half time break and finally just cope with the pressure.
Quinny - did you acquire any bottles or was it just cans?
