It is with great sadness that we have heard the news from Rovers that Phil Mitchell died suddenly on Saturday at the age of 63...

Phil, a leading solicitor, was a massive figure in local and regional rugby,  but primarily a diehard "Rovers man" who held every position at the club from player to President.

He was a familiar, and very welcome face,  at West functions and had many close friends at the club.  Our thoughts are with Carol, Thomas, Jonathan and Grace as well as everyone at the New Friarage.
