Durham City provide the opposition at Brinkburn on Friday night against a combined West Stags and Bucks side. Kick off is at 7.00.
Od Brodleians will be our opponents on Saturday with a 3.00 kick off. The Halifax club finished fifth in Regional 2 North East last season, while West finished fourth in Regionl 2 North . That match-up provdiing the perfect opportunity for both clubs to get their game heads ready for next week, when relegated Percy Park will be our first league opposition at Brinkburn.
It is still holiday time so a few regular names missing for the weekend including Ollie Connolly, while Will Corbett and Jake Linighan both have work commitments. As a result we will see Elliott Reed starting in Saturday's second row following the Durham Under 20's move across from Rovers.
Argentinian back row Chino Rocha is also unavailable on Saturday, but will take to the field against Durham City. Jobe Roxby, our new signing from Billingham, will be at fly-half against Old Brods.
