It's a more traditional mid-week Pyman Cup fixture after the original Friday night date was switched to allow Rovers' players to attend a club presentation night.
The Stags will be their usual mix of youth and experience led by Jonny Wray from the second row .
The Pyman has been going in one form or another since ship-owner and rugby referee Harold Pyman donated a trophy in 1904. The colourful history can be seen here on the Hartlepool History Then and Now website.
