The competition is now run by Northumberland County and the rules say they need to approve any promotion or relegation. Hopefully, that's a formaity as will be the entry of West Bucks into CaNDY Division Three, if we go ahead and apply.
But first there is the small matter of getting that point. If it is achieved then second placed Bishop Auckland will not be able to overtake the West side.
Ther CaNDY league allows for clubs to be awarded five points if the opposition cry-off and the Stags have unfortunately had five games which were walk-overs - having to play friendlies against Blaydon and Tynedale instead However, the Stags have lost only two games all season, so far, while Bishops have lost four and third placed Consett have been beaten seven times.
