Big Game For Stags

Big Game For Stags
Only one senior game this weekend and it's an important one for the Stags as they battle it out for the top spot in Candy Division Two South. Billingham 3TM's are the opposition with a 2.15 kick off on the artificial pitch at Greenwood Road ...

Last week the Stags lost heavily at home to Bishop Auckland who now lead the league by six points. However the Stags have three games in hand .

More than 20 players wee unavailabbe for senior action last week with both the Firsts and Stags suffering accordingly. It's improved this week with Matty Baggs, Aaron Muir, Jonny Wray and Jacob Wood all returning for the trip along the A689.

They'll take on a Billingham side which is comfortable in mid-table with nine wins from 20 games.

Best wishes to Billingham’s Carl Robinson who is due to undergo surgery today on the ankle injury he sustained at the end of yesterday’s game.
