Durham Referee's Chairman Mark Harrington has kindly agreed to carry out the formal pitch inspection on Friday afternoon ahead of the scheduled Aspatria game. However, it very much looks like a formality ...

Thursday night was the coldest of the week, so far, and the frost is well into the pitch with the forecast not showing any signs of improvement until Sunday.

It's now  likely that Aspatria will visit on Saturday February 8th,  with the Stags' home game against Consett also needing a new date.
