In Regional 2 North it's fourth versus fifth as the North East clubs continue to dominate the top half of the league. West have a seven-point advantage over City, and with third placed Morpeth travelling to leaders Middlesbrough will be looking for a win to move up to third.

The incentive for City is to stay in touch with the leading group as the season nears the half-way mark.

Last time out West came away from Kirkby Lonsdale with all five point despite a disjointed performance while City went down 48-33 at Consett.
Those games were two weeks and the interval has allowed a few players to return to duty. Chris Atkins has played only one for the first team game this season through injury. He has now come through two games with the Stags and is back on the bench alongside Tom Robertson and Charlie Kay.

Ollie Connolly has shaken off his jet-lag after visiting relatives in New Zealand. He will start in the centre with Will Hilditch resting the ankle injury which saw him limp off after a quarter of an hour at Kirkby Lonsdale.

Up front Liam Pennick is available again and start in the front row while Owen Nugent returns in the back row allowing  Jake Linighan to once again partner Will Corbett in the second row.

There’s a few front row players missing at the moment, for various reasons, but the Stags are still able to turn out a strong looking pack with Adam Hutchinson and Tim Blades propping alongside Liam Liston.

Jonny Wray and Ollie Webster complete the front five with a dynamic back row of Tom Shaw, Connor McLurg and Nick Bennions.
