President Fred
Fred Corbett is our new Club President .He will be taking over from Dave Laycock who is standing down after holding the reins for the past three seasons,  which must be some kind of record ....

Dave (left)  has been a superb ambassador for the club. He was shadowed by Fred home and away last season,   but  no doubt our new Pres will add his own brand of enthusiasm and spontaneity to the job.

The after match presentations could be fun.

As a goal-kicking full back Fred  played for West from the age of 11 to 35 - finally managing to play in the same team as son Barry.

His grandsons, Jay and Will, are now making a tremendous contribution to our senior teams,  and may now have to take more notice of grandfather's touchline instructions this coming season.

Fred is also a member of the "Evergreens" - the bunch of volunteers who do all of the jobs required to keep the club shipshape,  including doing such a tremendous  job erecting the fence round the main pitch.

Congratulations Fred, Dave's are big boots to fill. But you are the right man for the job!!
