Some more strong defensive efforts at a Consett scrum demonstrated West's determination, but subsequent scrappy phases made it challenging to regain control. A very dominant Consett scrum throughout the day.
The match saw moments of brilliance, including a notable runs from Nick, though a lack of support hindered progress. A borrowed player from Consett, George, joined West and showcased impressive speed on the wing. Despite some promising phases, West struggled to maintain possession consistently.

Scrappy play and missed tackles proved costly, reflecting in the final scoreline.
