Westies Step Up
The Bank Holiday and the Bournemouth 7's means there are lots of changes to the County team which will take on North Midlands in the Bill Beamont Senior Men's Championship semi-final at City's Hollow Drift on Saturday (kick off 14.00).  However, both Will Hilditch and Adam Hutchinson have made themselves available for the first time with Will starting on the wing and Hutch the travelling reserve .....

He will be joined on the bench by Jay Corbett while Chris Atkins will be looking to continue his try-scoring from the second row.

Victory would provide some selection problems as the "holidaymakers" return for a final which will be held at Ealing Trailfinders' ground in north London.

Durham: Joe Roxby (Billingham), Jonny Horner (Stockton), Matt Kirby (Billingham), Luke Wilson (Billingham), Will Hilditch (West), Ryan Foreman ( Hartlepool), Elliott Husband (Captain - Billingham), Adam Brown (Billingham), Jordan Foulds (Billingham), Kieran Clark (Billingham), Ben Walton (Billingham), Chris Atkins (West), Euan Tremless (Weston-super-Mare), John Padley (Billingham), Dan Dixon (Billingham).

Replacements: Ed Graham (Billingham), Kieron Hanlon (Sunderland), Shane Ivey (Hartlepool), Connor Witton (Billingham), Jay Corbett (West), Luke Redfearn (Bishop Auckland), Ben Hutchinson (Sunderland), Adam Hutchinson (Travelling Reserve - West).

Meanwhile, West have also now entered a team in the Hartlepool Sevens at Mayfield Park on Saturday which kicks off at noon with the final at about 2.45. Other teams are Hartlepool, Bishop Auckland & Napier University

County won 22-17- Will Hilditch scoring a try.
We lost 4 tries to 2 to old Boys in the Mayfield Park final.
