County Go For Third Win
Chrissy Try
Durham travel to Aspatria looking to progress in the Bill Beaumont Cup with a win over Cumbria to add to the home victories over Norrthumberland and Staffordshire.

Chrissy Atkins scored a try in last week's 48-28 defeat of Staffs and he will start in the second row in the final Pool One game.

Once again Billingham dominate the selection, but there are a few lads unavailable from the first two game, including Davy Heckles, so there's a few new faces.

Durham: Elliott Husband (Billingham), Jonny Horner (Stockton), Luke Shins (Billingham), Luke Wilson (Billingham), Martin Hopley (Billingham), Peter Evans (Billingham), Sam Heron (West), Adam Brown (Billingham), Ed Graham (Billingham), Kieran Clark (Billingham), Ben Walton (Billingham), Chris Atkins (West), Dan Burns (Billingham), John Padley (Billingham), Mike Walton (Billingham).

Bench: Jordan Foulds (Billingham), Kieron Hanlon (Sunderland), Charlie Doherty (Stockton), Euan Tremlett (Weston-super-Mare), Ben Hutchinson (Sunderland), Peter Youll (Billingham), Joe Roxby (Billingham), Jack Angus (West), Shane Ivey (Hartlepool).

Durham were beaten 34-26 but go through to the semi-final courtesy of a better point difference (Cumbria and Staffs also finished on 11 points.)
Chris Atkins once again scored a try from close range with a Sam Heron break creating another of Durham’s four tries.
Semi- final a home game but venue yet to be announced (unfortunately we have a wedding booked in so couldn’t accommodate the game.)
