The blend of experience in the second team has served the Stags well this season. Players with vast first team experience including Stu Waites, Zac Southern Adam Coates and Scott Butcher have all played a part in developing the young talent , such as Charlie Kay and Louis Adamson, who are now breaking into the first team. Unfortunately, Stu has another shoulder issue and won't figure in a side which is true to the many lads who have trotted out in the CaNDY league this season. That includes Liam Larkin, who is now in his early fifties and Sam Knight who is looking to celebrate turning 18 next week with a win. |

The Pyman has been restored to a full 15-a-side competition, with the Stags going through against Seaton courtesy of a 24-17 win while Old Boys beat Horden 36-22 in the other semi-final.
