The opening game against newly promoted Darlington provided a decent start to the season. West eventually winning 27-12 to start the unbeaten run which is still intact.
Darlington have struggled as the season went on - despite being able to call on former West try machine Rob Thorn for the odd game. They've lost their last three games - conceding almost 150 points in the process.
West travel to Blackwell Meadows with the backs intact and top try scorer Max Tennant looking to add to his try a game tally befoe he heads off for a ski-ing holiday.

There are changes up front with Tim Blades available to resume in the front row alongside Liam Pennick and Aidan Jackson-Smith. In the second row Jonny Wray continues where he left off last week, after being called onto the bench as a late replacement for Charlie Kay. The flanker is fit to start this week and he'll be in the back row alongside Will Corbett and Chris Atkins with Jay Corbett out with a leg injury. Lewis Scott scored with a sharp finish after coming on last week (right) , and he'll once again provide backs cover with Jack Angus and Louis Adamson doing the same for the forwards. |
