We scored early with live wire Charlie Kay crossing with Zac Southern converting,7-0 this was followed shortly after when the evergreen Scott Butch crashed over again converted.14-0.

The game was played at a great pace and it wasn’t long before Stockton got on the score sheet following numerous poor missed tackles their 10 went 50 meters in a similar manner to Pele in Escape to Victory to score wide out.14-5

Crazy Craig then got us back on track finishing off a good break to have us 19-5 up before Stockton “took off” their props to go uncontested, however it didn’t stop a flowing move which involved Toddy passing (it had to happen some time) and then receiving the return pass to crash over in the corner 24-5 Half time

Coach Parker rang the changes at half time and it paid off when Jay I’Anson charged clear from the first play of the second half to score under the sticks 31-5

The forwards continued to lead the way and it wasn’t long before Alex 'Jellyfish' Johnson added to the score converted 38-5.

At this point Gez came on for Stockton to allow the scrums to go back to being contested, which was great for the game and the education of our younger front rows. 

Mixie made the mistake of saying how much we pushed him all over, the last I saw he was still trying to remove the broom handle from where the sun don’t shine.

The impressive Dom Cox was next on the score sheet with a converted try 45-5, before tries from Butch and the returning Callum Johnston, who by the way is an absolute double of Toddy, taking the game away from Stockton.

Although we were scoring at regular intervals the Stockton lads really stuck at it but tries from Jelly and Butch increased our lead to 69-5, but a strong blasting from Gez soon got the Stockton lads into gear and it was to be they who scored next, following a trundle towards the line from Gez he was stopped inches short but the follow up player finished from short distance.

We were to have the last score when Crazy Craig raced clear and although he tried to avoid the hat trick try and the beer jug buying no one would help him out and after some strong words from Captain Toddy ( now manning the touch line flag duties) the try was scored.
