It's bottom v top in Counties 1 Durham and Northumberland at Eden Lane. However,  Peterlee and Horden always play with immense pride and love nothing better than taking a Hartlepool scalp - as Rovers discovered.

That was Horden's only win, so far,  and they are 14 points adrift at the bottom of the table. On the positive side they are using this season to blood a lot of  the promising players coming out of their juniors and will, no doubt, reap the benefit in due course.

West go into the game keen to keep the unbeaten run going. The last league game was back on December 3rd when they registered a 67-10 over Guisborough thanks to some  excellent flowing rugby.

A host of players did have a leg stretch against Rovers on Boxing Day in a game where both sides fielded some 30 players.

Two late tries from Jay Corbett kept the unbeaten run going. He will be looking to continue his try scoring form in a side which has a couple of enfroced changes form the one which hammered Guisborough.

Jake Linighan and Isaac Robinson are unavailable so Ollie Webster starts in the second row,  with Aidan Jackson-Smith in the back row and Alex Johnson continuing his impressive form at hooker.

The backs are unchanged with Davy Heckles returning to his old stamping ground, and looking to unleash the pace of Max Tennant and Will Hilditch -backed up at some point by an equally speedy Lewis Scott. Adam Coates and Charlie Kay will also be looking forward to playing their part from the bench

The Stags had a nice long rest in December and will be bolstered by the experience of Alex Barker who returns from his head injury to start in the back row.

 There's also strength and experience in the front row in the shape of Tim Blades and Liam Pennick.
