Two Dragons D.S.C. swimmers, Anthony Gregory and Katrina Mitchell represented the Welsh region at the DSE National Junior Short Course Championships 2005 held at Ponds Forge, Sheffield on March 5th & 6th 2005.

The Championships were held on Saturday March 5th and Sunday March 6th. The gala featured two of young the stars of the Great Britain Athens 2004 Paralympic team, Claire Cashmore and former Dragons D.S.C. swimmer Rhiannon Henry. In Athens Claire won bronze medals in the SM9 200m individual medley and the S9 100m backstroke, while Rhiannon Henry won bronzes in the S13 100m butterfly and 400m freestyle.

Katrina Mitchell was swimming in the S14 category for swimmers with Learning Difficulties and Anthony Gregory was competing in the S17 ctaegory for swimmers with dyspraxia.
