Swimmers with learning difficulties (S14) will be allowed to compete in the UK School Games after organisers agreed to stage events for them.

This is a welcome break for S14 swimmers after the suspending of all competitors from competing at top level competitions as a result of the Spanish Sydney 2000 Paralympic basketball team fielding non-disabled competitors.
