IPC World Swimming Championships 2006 Day 2

Dragons D.S.C. Coach David Roberts has won Gold in the S7 100m Freestyle. David swam 1:02.13, just outside of his own World Record. American swimmer Lantz Lamback took the Silver, just ahead of David's great rival Matt Walker who had to settle for Bronze. Andrew Lindsay also made the final finishing in 6th.

There has also been medal success for Natalie Jones in the S6 100m Freestyle taking the Silver medal. James Crisp took bronze in the menís S9 100m Backstroke while Rachel Latham picked up a bronze in the womenís S8 100m Butterfly due to the disqualification of China's Shengnan Jiang.
