Minutes AGREED
Accounts
Summary: General income, including subscriptions (66), opening balance, Seniors Men’s Open raffle (£103). Club donation (£65). & domino cards generated £1178.85.
Whilst member subscription were down by 9 (£45) overall income increased by £167.26. Expenditure includes the annual subscription to the Northumberland Senior League (£20.00), and costs borne in relation to the sections drawn competitions.
It is noted that the cost of ‘lite bites’ on competition days increased per head – a situation that is likely to recur in the coming year. Expenditure includes a donation (£75.00) to the Club to purchase coloured pin flags. Therefore, a healthy reserve of £614.21 carried forward.
Subscription 2014/2015
Given declared reserve, it was AGREED the subscription remains at £5.00.
Competitions
Generally well supported during the year with a number of new members participating.
Congratulations to the winners who have been presented with trophies & to all members who supported the competitions.

LEAGUE
The team supported by 28 members &captained by Alan JOHNSON enjoyed a mixed set of results finishing in the bottom half of the table for the year. Those who represented the Club speak of the stern competition amongst teams vying for the championship but with matches played in a friendly atmosphere. FIELD DAY
Thanks extended to the 10 members who played at Tynemouth on 5th September 2013 – the team finishing a credible 4th. Les MILLER returned the best City score winning the ‘A’ category prize.
The CITY will host the 2014 event to be played on 4th September.
Volunteers will be needed to provide support on the day….
Away Day
Arranged by Alan Johnson, 15 members enjoyed a round of golf & a meal at Burgham Park GC on Monday 3rd June 2013. An enjoyable outing with interest voiced in having an away day this year.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS
The issue of the team (any senior member) PURCHASING POLO SHIRTS with a suitable logo to be explored by Alan Johnson.
Congratulations to John MITCHELL on winning the ‘Winter Series 4’ competition played on 18th January 2014. John has the impressive record of winning a Club competition in each of the last five decades.
Thanks extended to Lew NAINBY & Keith McKELLOW for organizing the Seniors Open Golf Day raffle which netted £103.00. – a significant contribution to section funds.
