Sponsors Day 2011 at the City
On Tuesday the 6th September, the City of Newcastle hosted their sponsors day. Although the conditions were very blustery, a good time was had by all.
The winners for 2011 were
1st place were our 14th hole sponsors Axa Roofing Company
2nd place were our 12th hole sponsors Heineken UK
3rd place were our 13th hole sponsors Fosters
The nearest to the pin in there 2nd shot, was Jordan Cook who chipped into the hole.
Following the golf, a traditional City steak pie with trimmings, followed by a delicious crumble.
The prizes were presented by our Captain John Harrison.
