More good news, Nicky Maddison wins the Northumberland County Championship for a second year.

THE NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP 2011

 

Nicky Maddison County Champion 2011 EDITED

 

Nicky Maddison retained his County Championship Title in impressive style at Newcastle United Golf Course on Sat. 25th June.  Through qualifying and the knockout rounds he produced a consistently high standard of shot making.

Nicky beat home player Neil Graham in a high quality match. 2 down after the first 18 holes he produced an early breakthrough in the second round to eventually win the title 2 & 1.

He is only the fourth person to retain the title in the history of the event a fantastic achievement.
