Garden Village kick-started their preparations for the new season with a 3-1 victory at Pembrokeshire League outfit Clarbeston Road on Saturday.

The visitors included new signings Anthony Wright, Mark Jones (both West End), Derrick Jenkins (Morriston) and former Tredegar Town midfielder Craig Davies in the starting eleven but it was long-serving defender David Evans who put the visitors in front shortly before half-time.
