Below you will Find Important Dates Past and Present along with some useful Information regarding the general running of the club.
Upcoming Events!
To Be Held on Sunday the 23rd of November.
We are looking to enter at least 11 players to run the Annual Clowne Town Fun run. All players will do it in their whites and maybe batting pads!
All playing members are asked to attend as alot of important issues need to be discussed and the decisions reached will affect the club and all players over the 2004 Cricket season. At the AGM Captains and vice-captains are elected for all 3 existing teams, we are also considering having a 4th eleven and a mid week team for next year therefore captains will also be elected for these teams as well. As a club we also have to discuss club membership fees, tea prices, and more importantly cricketing issues as to where the club needs to improve in the future.
THEREFORE I ASK ALL MEMBERS TO ATTEND
It has been brought to the attention of the committee that a EGM is wanted before the AGM. It is requested that all players attend the meeting to discuss where the club is heading after a disappointing season and what should be done to correct the situation in the future. This is a chance to voice your opinions and make suggestions. It also provides prospective captains the chance to air their views on cricketing matters before the AGM on the 16th of November.
