Clowne lost the toss and were put into bat.

So wanting at least 150 to satisfy the captain the team dully obliged. Dale and Joseph opened putting on an opening stand of 69 when Dale retired on 50 of 26 balls. In came Matt Linacre who was bowled for 14. So in came Matt Lowton. Joseph and Matt put on a useful partnership of 50. With Joseph looking for his maiden 50, needing 11 runs off the last 2 overs. He completed his 50 in the 19th over, with 4 balls left in came Gareth Wood finishing with 1* and was well supported by Matt Lowton who got 25*.

Clowne finished on 164-1

Clowne using an inexperienced bowling attack, Sam Smedley playing his 1st under 15’s game celebrated by bowling their captain first ball. He then went on to take a further wicket in his 3 over spell, and finished with figures of 3-0-15-2. Wickets also fell at the other end as Calvin took 2 for 5 in his 3 over spell. On came A.Wright who finished with 1 for 2 of 1 over. M.Cook also making his debut took a wicket on his second ball, bowling A.G.D all out for 30. A much improved performance.
