Clowne 201-10
With the wicket improving throughout the match Clowne were determined to bowl a good line and length throughout the Belper innings. Swannack (3-15) and Steers (1-10) bowled straight and fast and destroyed the Belper top order quickly leaving Belper reeling on 35-5 from 13 overs. An injury to Steers resulted from him being withdrawn from the attack and the field, In came Kinsey (4-20) to spin his web.
