Clowne Town Cricket Club is holding its first official fundraiser of the season on the 29th of March beginning at 730.

The theme of the evening will be a Race Night, where money is up for grabs, if you back the right horse.

Throughout the evening it will be possible to bet on 8 races. For each of the races it is possible to buy a horse and name it for £2 if that horse wins the owner of the horse will receive £10.

At the end of the evening we will be holding an auction race, where you are required to bid for the horse of your choice. The owner of the winning horse than takes all the money taken on the auction.

We are also looking for Race sponsors, to sponsor a race it costs £10. All race sponsors will be advertised on the night and on this web site which gets 12000 hits a month.

So if you are interested in buying a horse or sponsoring a race you can contact me on benholmes5@hotmail.com or leave a message on the message board.

This will be a fun event with hopefully a good attendance so get yourself down to the club to enjoy the cheap drinks and family entertainment. Everybody is welcome to come along even if you are not a member of the club.

The Race card for the Race Night is now available click here to have a look. Notice that the number of club members supporting this event at the moment is not very high, so lets try to sell all of the horses!
